1)Avoid "Eagle Eye" at all costs. The ONLY time it might make sense to give a hero this skill is if the other option is "Navigation" on a land-locked map. This skill is worthless. 2)Skills like "Estates" and "Artillery" should be taken by garrisoned secondary heroes but not by your main (s).

Because it have always been a "problem" with campaign 4 and 5, I have NEVER heard anyone had a problem unlocking the sixth campaign.

Posted August 29, 2012. The main goals of the SoD campaigns are fine, as well as the diversity on the map, but there are some issues occurring. Many loose ends appear regularly and many which are confusing. In Gelu's Elixir of Life campaign they forgot to tell you, that you carry over 3 heroes to scenario 3, not just Gelu.

Maybe for you. For me changing difficulty level in campaign gives me more challenge while playing as I am used to play all campaign on hardest difficulty. This is big downside as i don't wont to play at begginers level. Back again to GOG version. Wasted money on this, first and last time.

If you mean storyline order, you might as well get King's Bounty, HoMM1, HoMM2, and all 8 Heroes Chronicles to make sure you play through everything in storyline order. But to be honest, it doesn't matter too much if you play a few things slightly out of order, and a few of the campaigns even overlap.
