The Galaxy Watch 4 looks really tempting - but I bought a Pixel 5 just a few months ago and I'm not going switch to a Samsung phone just to have the full experience of a watch. I just this minute opened the health monitor app and it said it needed to update. After the update it then asked for permission of both the ECG and Blood pressure readings and once accepted I find it now works! Odd but I'm happy it is now doing what it should. to add: Samsung health v6.22.7.003. Health Monitor v1.1.1.227.

Yes, my watch is a Galaxy Watch 3, U.S. Version, Model SM-R845. The smart phone is a Samsung Galaxy 8+. The watch currently has an ECG widget, which is functional. There is also a functional SPO2 feature available on it. However, there is no available widget for blood pressure. The Samsung Health Monitor App is installed on the phone.
